Most of the personal information I process is provided to me directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • to place an order on my website

  • to enrol on my online course via Thinkific

I also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

I use the information that you have given me in order to:

  • fulfil orders

  • enable and monitor the use of my website

I may share information with Royal Mail or other delivery companies in order to despatch orders to you.

Your information is securely stored.

  • If you enrol on my course on Thinkific, your personal information is stored on my secure Thinkific account.

I keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide my services.

As you go through checkout, this site may auto-complete your shipping and billing address by sharing what you type with the Google Places API and returning suggestions to you to improve your checkout experience.

Emails

I may email you with messages about your order. For example, I may email you to tell you that:

It’s not possible to unsubscribe from these messages.

I share your contact information with Squarespace, my website hosting provider, so they can send these emails to you on my behalf.

Online courses

My course and associated webpages are hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). They provide me with the online course creation platform that allows me to sell my product/services to you. Your data is stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases and the general Thinkific application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment

If you make a purchase on my Thinkific site, this is done via a third party payment processor such as Stripe or Paypal. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by my site and related courses and its service providers.
